E-Type Big Brake Kit (Light Weight)

Prompted by enquiries from customers building highly accurate Light Weight or Semi- Light Weight E-Type re-creations we have now developed a version of our high performance Big Brake kit for these cars.

Our Light Weight  E-Type big brake kit utilises our incredibly powerful  six pot ExCel caliper and our oversize 294 mm two part rotor and bell assembly. The result is truly unbelievable braking for your Light Weight E-Type.

Our ExCel caliper takes a huge 130mm x 49mm brake pad and this, combined with the increased diameter of the oversize brake discs supplied with the E-Type Big Brake Kit, makes this upgrade the obvious choice for anyone looking for the best E-type brakes on the market.

The added stopping power of the Big Brake Kit makes the everyday driving of  an E-Type a relaxing and effortless affair…..and then when the opportunity to drive in a spirited manner presents itself you can have total confidence in your ability to slow and stop without any drama.

As with all our brake upgrades the installation of our Light Weight E-Type Big Brake kit requires no permanent modifications to the car and it has been designed to work perfectly with the existing rear brakes and master cylinder  etc.

We have taken a great deal of time to develop a kit which can be installed onto the special Lightweight front suspension uprights and six bolt peg drive hubs.  The kit will fit behind the standard 15″ Dunlop peg drive wheels with no need for spacers so the original suspension geometry is not compromised.

Our comprehensive kit includes everything you need to install the kit – all you need to supply is brake fluid.

The caliper, brackets and disc bells are available in either silver or black anodised finish as standard.
