Servo Heat Shield for E-Type Jaguar Series 1 & 2

Our new E-Type servo heat shield is designed to combat the ‘sticky brakes’ which can occur when the servo and slave cylinder of 4.2 litre E-Types (Series 1 & 2) get too warm

The heat shield features a double skinned stainless steel construction that looks great and is really effective at protecting your brake servo and slave cylinder from the heat of your exhaust. Excessive heat in this area can cause the brake servo to stick and the brakes to bind. The heat shield design also protects the paint on the left hand engine frame from radiated heat which is a particular problem with stainless steel headers.

The Fosseway Performance E-type servo heat shield has been designed to make it easy to install and very easy to remove to gain access to the exhaust or engine block for cleaning or maintenance. Our unique, easy to use design allows the shield to be clipped and un-clipped at any time. The photos below illustrate how simple this process is:

 

The double walled stainless steel shield offers protection from both conducted and radiated heat from the exhaust header and down pipes. The kit comes complete with a set of stainless steel brackets, nuts, bolts and washers to ensure continued good looks, durability and reliability.

Please Note  : On left hand drive cars you will need to relocate the upper heat shield for the brake and clutch reservoirs.  A set of brackets to facilitate this is availble as an optional extra.
