Jon Greaves’ 1968 Lotus Elan S at the Le Mans Classic where it helped win ‘Best Club Display’

Customer Jon Greaves recently rebuilt the engine of his 1968 Lotus Elan S. Following the rebuild the original Lotus starter motor was struggling to turn the fresh, tight engine.

Jon contacted us to see if we could help. We supplied Jon with one of our new high torque starter motors based on the improved 1.4 Kw Denso gear reduction unit.  This was assembled to meet the specific needs of the Lotus twin cam engine and dispatched within 24 hours. Jon comments:
