The standard rear brakes of the early Range Rover Classic and Discovery 1 featured a simple solid disc (298mm x 14mm) and a basic two piston caliper.  Later versions of the cars improved upon this with the addition ABS but the rear brakes remained otherwise largely unchanged for years.

The Fosseway Performance Range Rover Classic rear brake upgrade features a special version of our four piston lightweight aluminium 6082 T6 billet.  The new caliper is used in conjunction with a pair of oversized vented brake discs with directional cooling vanes for optimum performance. This combination vastly improved stopping power and huge increase in heat management and dissipation.

Please note that the Range Rover Rear Brake Upgrade must be used in conjunction with one of our front brake upgrade kits to maintain the brake balance required.

Fosseway Performance – Range Rover Classic Upgrade – Kit Contents

The uprated rear disc measures 315mm x 32mm will fit inside all 16″ wheels including the original Rostyle.

The full kit is supplied with two stainless steel braided brake hoses for the rear of the car, EBC Green Stuff brake pads and caliper mountings suited the axle fitted to the intended application.  The ABS system, where fitted remains fully functioning.
