We really did try to develop a caliper and disc assembly that would fit inside a standard 13″ Sunbeam Tiger wheel and which delivers a decent improvement in breaking. We failed, we just could not get that ‘quart’ in a ‘pint pot’. However, our vented Brake Upgrade for Sunbeam Tigers fitted with 14″ wheels will transform the way your car feels and stops.
The light weight aluminium 6082 T6 billet caliper uses modern seals to give a reassuring pedal feel, vastly increased brake pad area and improved wheel control by reducing your cars unsprung weight. All our calipers are 100% compatible with your existing hydraulic system and maybe fitted without any permanent modification.
Our 20 mm thick vented brake rotor and bell assembly is designed to fit inside a 14″ wheel and will eliminate the brake fade often suffered by cars with the original solid discs. These are manufactured in the UK and are a direct replacement for your original discs, requiring no changes to your wheel hubs or suspension.
